Oh, I fell in love with this song in my Gilmore Girls obsession days, it played in episode 4.13 from memory. It made for one of the best scenes of the show in my opinion. It came back into my obsession when it was played on Bones a while back. Which was all beside the point I suppose, but this so is so gorgeous. I love the sound of his voice in it, it's so perfect. Not really sure of the meaning. Obviously there is an infatiation with the subject, Mona Lisa, well to an extent anyway. --------------- It's just a really pretty song, kind of like just being with her makes him happy, and everything is just better. "With a wink of your eye, Ya make it all right" -------------------- But he knows that he can't ask that things don't change. "Aint nothin’ that stays the same Won't ask it a’ you" --------------- So instead, he just hopes that he can have the same impact on her life if that's what's needed.
