If zac wrote the song, his meanings for it cannot be set aside...he knows the most about the song so lets believe him...just a thought... maybe God is the man on the tightrope...as people we look to this higher being (literally higher, in this case) with hope and anticipation (on the edge of our seats). There are bends and trials along the way that make us question God's ability to "cross the tightrope" (pull through and fulfill our hopes). I also agree that it sounds like what most have said here...that we should not let fear get in out way of getting to where we want to in life. |
