"This song is NOT about Stairway to Heaven. It is actually about another Zep tune. It's about a song recorded by Zeppelin that Plant and Page agreed was the greatest they had ever written. But when it was recorded it somehow got erased and they couldn't remember how it went. They only knew the intro which was used as the beginning of Tangerine (another Zep song for those who don't know). The D uses parts of Stairway in the song because most people say that S2H is the greatest song in the world." Sounds like BS to me. |
