| ABBA – When I Kissed The Teacher Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Very sweet song, I even made a little flash video out of it if anyone cares: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19311064/ I agree it's just about wanting to kiss your teacher, in fact it's narrating how she did it and how much she liked it. Gotta love the theme! |

If you hear the song in German you'll understand it's not about Napoleon but comparing a love situation. "And how could I ever refuse I feel like I win when I lose" The person singing is saying they were trying to refuse the flirtings of the oither person but couldn't, hence lost like Napoleon in Waterloo, and yet it feels good. Again, the German version is a lot clearer about this~ |

| ABBA – The Day Before You Came Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I love this song, it narrates a whole bunch of trivialities (rain being the less trivial of them all, as an example of the most exciting thing that ever happens) a prelude to a story, to something important. And yet it never says anything about what did happen, just that someone came. I think this song fits well with "Just Like That", they'd make a cute story together (The day before you came... everything was normal... and just like that you walked into my life as smug as a cat, stole my secrets and ran off with my heart) | |

This song brings back such sad memories of singing it to someone and really meaning it... SOS shows very well how you clinge onto a relationship till the last second, till it can't be saved anymore, where the end seems so awful, yet it's painfully close and you're well aware of it. I still love the song, as painful as it may be. |

| ABBA – Put On Your White Sombrero Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Cute song but easy to understrand, it's abouut the clash between old fashioned relationships where the gal obeys the guy and the new era of thinking women. Funny how in spite of being writen in the 70's it still makes sense nowadays. It should be different by now... | |
| ABBA – Like An Angel Passing Through My Room Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is kind saddish, a bit nostalgic. I believe it refers to someone who's lived their life, possibly had children, their spouse is dead ("In the twlight hour I am alone" and "love was one prolonged goodbye" are pretty good to prove that point) and all there's left is memories and waiting for the end of their life (the long awaited darkness might be a metaphor for it). And all too soon everything's over, the moment right before the end, the calmness, as if an angel was there. | |

No comments? My, this song is quite intriguing! Your typical normal dull girl stumbles upon a don juan, someone special, probably boisterous and outgoing (not your typical nice guy) and suddenly: a rollercoaster! Just like that! And then, all of the sudden, it's over again. A bit of a touch and go relationship, maybe one out of too many for our guy, and to our girl it'll always be something special. You can see the blindness of the person in love there, the typical sympthoms. And the suddenness of everything. |

| ABBA – Elaine Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Yay, us Elaines rule! Lol, okay, my name's Alex, was just making fun of you guys a bit ^~ This song clearly shows someone tied trying to escape, I've hears many interpretations, mine is the following: Elaine's someone in a rough situation where people use her, possibly abuse her ( might be a wife with her husband or something along those lines) trying to run away. The whole song with the coming and going of tones and words reflects a useless chase, where Elaine's trapped and has no escape, nowhere to go, a desperate situation. Eh, kind of obvious, but still~ |

| ABBA – I Let The Music Speak Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is trying to put into words the feeling of a singer, someone whose passion is to sing. It goes beyond the opening the mouth and singing, it's trying to explain how each song has a mind of its own, going to an extent where the singer is but a tool of the song to come to life and they merge into one thing. Beautiful song if you're the type to appreciate art, I believe. | |
