| Although this song i think is about the death of his love and coming to terms with it, i also think it's a sort of remembrance to those who have fallen through suicide, and how hoping wasn't enough for them. A shame they couldn't find the strength. The 2nd verse especially refelcts that. | |

They are nott a fucking Christian band. & I think this song is about fighting someone who is controlling and thinks they are better than everyone else. No1 else notices it but he does. But instead of fighting fire with fire, he does so with water, i.e. turning the other cheek and not reacting. Summed up really when he says; "I'll stay With apathy I'm blind But I can see A tyrant To the bones" |

Isn't the meaning of the song made it pretty obvious? "Get up get out get away from these liars 'cause they don't get your soul or your fire." The girl obviously keeps going for all the wrong men [as most girls do] and hes trying to point it out to her. Trying to get her to open her eyes to him. "My bones ache, my skin feels cold and I'm getting so tired and so old The anger swells in my guts" I think they re-iterate the meaning. He's in love with her but she don't see it. Nice song tho innit! :] |

He wants them to escape from the real world, and drift off into a world of their own, in a place where nothing and no-one else matters. & how doing nothing with the one you love is still enough. He doesn't care what they do together, no matter how silly or a waste of time it seems, as long as it's with her. I don't think hes entirely certain of where or how things will end up, but they'll always have each other. Quoted from earlier ... 'It reminds me of those moments your with someone you care about, when your just laying there and your afraid to move because everything is so great in that time. When you do move its like you have to go back to reality. Sometimes I wish we could live in those moments forever, there so unreal, but so perfect.' ... That's so true. :] The lyrics are vague, not so complex, yet mean more than any other love song - without even mentioning the word once. A great song to listen to when u want to escape from some of the gritty realities in the world today. Not one glimpse of darkness in it, and totally uplifting. I'll love this song forever. |
