I think this song is about someone dear to the narrator has passed away, this could of been suddenly. The death of this person has affected this person significantly. The grief is just too hard to handle. But it is time for this person to move on from the death of this person, you'll never forget the person who has died, but life goes on. Maybe because of the hurt experienced by the narrator he/she is having trouble keeping the past behind them, because of fear of certain incidents that have happened in the past and how those events could affect them if something happens in the future. This song is also about a relationship that has taken a bad turn and they have broken up. But it is time for them to move on. |
