It's such a beautiful song and it's probably my absolute favorite of TBS. *cringes for barrage of disagreements...* lol, but it's just awesome. Definitely different from their others, but I love it anyway. Just about a relationship that's reached its endpoint. Simple, but oh-so-sad... :'( |

First off, GREAT SONG. definitely my favorite. Music video a little cheesy for my taste, but w/e. GLB is a great band and I'm sure they'll be quick to get popular.
Favorite line: "I keep a sinister smile and a hold of my heart" That's probably what first piqued my interest. It just sounded cool to me so I went through the GLB songs till I found it.
Anyway, I think that this guy turned down a lot of women (get in line) because of his troubled past (skeletons in the closet). But then he saw this girl and everything changed (turned me around). Now he feels open to more things (weakness, perhaps?) and he's glad he was wrong about women (never felt so good to be so wrong). And for the whole heroine/heroin debate, I'm going to go in the middle and say it's a play on words. Like she's his heroine, but she also keeps him going and excites him, like a drug. |

Well i think the story goes like this: A guy and a girl are friends who secretly like eachother but they each are going out with someone else so they can get over it. And then the girl finally tells him how she feels and he thinks about it, considering that he's always had a thing for her, but then he realized that it's too late for them to be together because they've moved on.
this song eerily mirrors what's going on with me. i like this guy and some people say he likes me back but idk and we're friends so it's kinda weird. But one day we will both have moved on i guess. |

Wow. That's just it. Wow. This song is just amazing. It makes you feel like everything's gonna be alright because one day that sun (whether it's a person, God, or some event) will come on out and take away all of your sorrows. I simply love this song. George rocks. He's definitely my favorite and I wish that he was still here... :'( |

I always just liked the way it sounded and never really thought much about it. Once I was listening to the Aerosmith version with my dad and he was like "can you imagine what that guy would look like?" so i tried and i just shook my head and said "weird, that's for sure". but i agree with some of the earlier comments about this song being about each of the Beatles individually. But then again, msrmx350's comment makes a lot of sense too. |

I found it odd how they sounded so much like the Beach Boys. It's funny, my friend is a big Beatles fan too and this one kid said he liked the Beach Boys better and we like ganged up on him! But I don't have anything against them, I just love the Beatles more. |

Dang this song rocks. I like the begining because it's so happy with love and stuff. It kinda worked for me because once me and my crush hung out at a football game and these lyrics kinda clicked with it. Well, the begining did. Then it got all sad... But it's still awesome. |

Well when I hear this song I think of Mexico. Random, I know, but when I went like a long time ago I apparently didn't bring that many different CD's and my Beatles #1 Album was one of them. And for some reason my little kid brain only liked the first about six tracks. So I ended up practically memorizing all of the first 5 tracks and Yellow Submarine. Then when I got older I sent back and listened to all the other ones. But as for the meaning, I agree with Disposition_987 who was talking about how you can really see how they progressed. And I would know because as I said, at first I only listened to a few of them so I had a very limited knowledge of how great they were and then I discovered, so to speak, their other tracks and I saw how different they could be. In a good way though. But the song itself if very basic, simply talking about asking for love. |
