| Phish – Chalk Dust Torture Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Thoughts follow my vision and dance in the sun All my vasoconstrictors they come slowly undone." I believe these two lines are referring to day dreaming. We have all stared out the window into the sun as our boredom, or vasoconstrictors, began to become a faint memory. "I'm getting it clearly through alternate paths Or mixed in with the signal you're sending." This may be in reference to the teacher's words that may be going right through your head as she says them, yet you somehow pick up exactly wat she's saying. Strange..? Yes, but we are talking Phish not Good Charlotte. |

| Phish – Sample In A Jar Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"...the Elihu and Lemore thing is totally foreign to me. Best I could dig up is that they're both modern-era philosophers...." That would make some sense that two philosophers' names were used because I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Trey had a degree in philosophy. Although...I would bet that Tom Marshall probably wrote this (if so, maybe Trey helped with the chorus). |

| Oysterhead – Owner Of The World Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The idea that keeps popping into my head is the idea that the man in the song had everything he ever wanted, but he gave it up or lost it; now he is beginning to walk around and try to get more from life. "Like always taking more Standing on the beach Or walking out the door." |

| Oysterhead – Mr. Oysterhead Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I believe that 'Mr Oysterhead' represents a being or band that will eventually come along, or has come, and shape the way we think. 'Mr. Oysterhead' appears to come, or came, at a time when everything is much alike and everybody is copying themselves (much like today). | |
| Oysterhead – Oz Is Ever Floating Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
On the question of who is 'Oz' (in my opinion): A- They say Dr. Lilly was trying to find 'himself' through the tank and the drugs...maybe Oz represents the characteristic he found as himself. B- Oz may represent Dr. Lilly's mind. It was always floating from his experiments with drugs inside the tank. |

| Oysterhead – Shadow Of A Man Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I know that the Agent Orange was a chemical that they sprayed over the jungles of 'Nam to make the plants easier to get through. When coming in contact with the chemical, soldiers suffered long-time effects such as babies being born as lifeless blobs. "After two still born babies." | |
| Oysterhead – Rubberneck Lions Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think it's talking about a person who possibly attempted suicide by drugs (he's hallucinating the lions that appear to be 'rubbernecking'). The being failed the suicide and continues to be addicted to the drug. My 'evidence' making it plausable that the man was a drug addict: "Aaron looked to Moses for his daily bread." |
