quote - but seriously.. how on earth can you tell that this song is not about ectasy or cocaine? the song writer suffered with drug addiction when she was younger. its not unreasonable to say she wrote about drugs. Thats actually a pretty good point - I didn't know about the addiction thing. It just gets a little frustrating when EVERY song I like has been diagnosed by someone as being about drugs. (Seriously. | I think that, although the melody is good and pretty catchy, the lyrics are actually quite disturbing. I mean, its all about some girl seeng a guy, and deciding that she'll just steal him away from his girlfriend - who I empathise with, as people who look really like the main peron in the video are SERIOUSLY evil to me as I look really pretty like the redhead. The video is even more disturbing. I mean, she hits the poor girl with a golfball, and is just generally seriously evil. I am not a PC - person but I still think that this song sends out all the wrong messages. | |

This song is crap. Bad points - It has all the emotional depth and meaning of a nursery rhyme. I mean, look at it! It's about a guy who sees a random pretty woman on the subway, and decides that, because she smiled at him, he will spend the rest of his LIFE thinking about her. If that was for real, that would be counted as sick and sociopathic. Also, it's sung in a way that shows off every possible bad thing about it. When he sings the "You're beautiful, you're beautiful, it's true" line, he sounds, and do not be offended by this, a girl with a serious throat infection. And I am a girl, so I know what that sounds like. Good points - Well... OK, I give up. There aren't any. |

I think that the song is about a really wild girl (possibly pink) who had a really controlling boyfriend who tried to make her into a little paper centerfold, but she didn't want to be like that so she walked out on him. Does anyone agree? |

I love this song! I love anything that makes fun of those stupid, stick thin, platinum blondes who do anything to get a guy, but the only thing is, I get a lot of stick because, unfortunately, I'm naturally blonde, naturally skinny, and have big eyes. I have to work hard to make sure that people don't mistake me for a Stupid Girl, and I DON'T appreciate girls like Paris Hilton, who are dragging the reputation of all thin blondes in the dirt. I love songs like this, that make fun of that sort of girl, but remember - Not all thin blondes are like that. Anyway, GO PINK! |
