TO me it is a love song, just loving someone and wanting to be with them more than anything. 'far away this ship has taken me far away, far away from the memories of the people who care if i live or die' when you love someone, the 'ship' is the jouney loving them takes on, and when you flal in love with someone, your friends, even family you dont think about them, you love tHEM hense the away form people who care if i love or die-you only care truley for them. 'i dont know if its worth it anymore' you do sometimes think if in love with someone, is it worth all this pain? thne into 'hold you in my arms, i just wanted to hold...' its just yearning, how much he wants her, and of corse it would be worth it if in the end he did get too...
