Basically he wanted to stir the things up within the vampires (preferably having an all out show down with them) and be reunited with Gabrielle, Armand, Louis, Marius, etc. Also, in the books, he loved to break rules and by revealing all the secrets he knew of vampires to practically the whole world was probably the biggest rule he could break. |
