I love "You're my favourite friend we rule the world together with our secret codes and plans we can't remember" It describes me and one of my good friends But I have to go along with the imaginary friend theory cause he says "but i'm older now i can't pretend i can't see you anymore" And usually when you go older you can't "see" your imaginary friend, cause you think people will make fun of you, but then again it could be about having a bad sort of friend and growing up and seeing that the relationship is destructive. |

I think this song is about being discontent even though you have everything that you could really ask for. The image that comes to mind is someone who has enough money to buy anything that they really desire, but not geniune affection and love, but hey that is me. |

I can't believe that no one has commented on this great band's songs. This has to be one of my favorite songs, I was so glad when they played it at the show, but I think on the album the lyrics are different cause in the second verse instead of hearing "She don't wanna go well i gots until she's worth the night" I hear "She don't wanna go Well, I guess, Until she's with the next" And I saw it both ways on the offical forum. But back to the meaning, I'm really unsure, I would say that it seems like the song is about a girl rejecting Anna or whoever the veiw point is from, but then in the last line it says "he." So I'm really confused, but regardless of the meaning great song. |
