In my opinion this is, like others think, a recap of the album, but it could be the start of the next one. The main character of the story is recapping on their journey, which I think is convoy of reinforcement, if needed. And he's been traveling with a partner the entire time, for most almost all of their life, because of the phrase: "All our lives we have been waiting for a sound to call" While recapping on their adventures, they realize their fears of dieing and leaving their life behind like the ones before them, seen the phrases: "How do we know when we will leave this life behind? Staring life through eyes of mine to hate the fear and the pain" There's a feeling held deep inside - the life you live is in vain" As they talk, his partner reveals that he wants to give in and join the forces of evil. And now our narrator is faced with the temptation of giving in as well, releaving his troubled mind of all his worries. Or he can stay true to his people, and become enemys with his lifelong friend... |

In my opinion this, and operation ground and pound are the Dragonforce's best songs. Like all dragonforce songs it appears that they're in a hellish world fighting for freedom, or in this case, enduring eternal pain, only to feel it more times over, to rise again, and feel it again. It appears that the fate of the ones fighting for freedom have fallen, and now suffer forever. |
