Aw this is such a great song...in my sappy little mind, the meanings are these: Someone has had a dark period in their life, and a certain person/place/thing brought them out of it (aurura = morning, as in the dawn after a long unhappy night) This 'morning' restored their hope and all sorts of happy great things like that, and the singer is reflecting on it. He's all,"Hell yeah I remember it" because it damn near saved his life... "I just kind of died for you...you just kind of stared at me" reminds me of when I grabbed my 'aurora' by the shoulders and awkwardly professed adoration for him in the form of a long rambly tangent. The poor guy could only look at me and hug sympathetically...I've won him over since then though so it's all good. x) |

To me it seems to be about recognizing yourself as a force to be dealt with, and realizing that you have to depend on yourself. The "hallucination" part...I guess it's how she thinks she's a hazard to both herself and others? |
