| Pink Floyd – The Great Gig in the Sky Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| To me this tune sounds how painful life can be and how its a roller coaster of emotions right to the end before excepting an inevitable death. its like its goin through some ones life and the troubles they will face before they fade out of existence. Its pretty amazing how this can be conveyed with some one just wailing through most of it and a few words at the start. | |

| Morrissey – We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this is my interpretation probably aload of crap but i think its about a dig at the cure it sounds abit like one of their tunes and morrisey mocking them becuase they hate him or vice versa he's being sarcastic by using the word friend | |
| Morrissey – Bengali In Platforms Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| To me its Morrisey warning to an immigrant how much dirscrimnation he is going to face from the indigneous population. its not the place he's imagined. Trust me living in the UK is depressing especially if you live in Manchester. Under all the political correctness in the UK it is massivley racist but you would be too if you grew up council housed and violent. | |
| The Smiths – Never Had No One Ever Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
When you walk without ease On these Streets were you were raised" i can really relate to that manchester on the whole is not the best place to live for a quiet life its a rather bitter sweet place. the streets are full of violence and sociopaths not a good idea walking around at night unless you want to get beaten up for looking at someone the wrong way. |

I think feeling depressed, alone and isolated is an exagerated state of being. So making a songs that can actually reflect that is in a humourous but sad manner is genius. You can only see how exagerated and self loathing youre thinking is after you come out of something like depression. At the time is very real, unless youve been through something similar i think its hard to understand. the best parts the end "But I know that you would like me If only you could see me If only you would meet me" if people would give him chance and get to know him they would like him for who he is but they dont. |

| Recoil – Incubus Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this song means quite abit to me i suffered from anxiety for two years after a load of shit happened and fear controlled my life for two years so i can really relate this song. To me its definely about getting over fear realising that the only person that can help you is you're self and taking youre life back and becoming content with who you are | |
| Radiohead – Knives Out Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Heres my interpretation i think is a multi faceated song is about three things cannabilism death and reltionships firstly i think it about coming to terms with someone dying or the death of some one close to you but had a love/hate relationship with them.secondly they got hurt by the dying person they left them in the past to deal with something major so they dont really know how to deal with it. should they be glad their gone or grieve for them. finally I think the song also deals with mortality this is where the cannabilism part comes in the person doesnt believe in an internal soul and the afterlife and is an athiest/agnostic. they find the person death really hard to deal with not having the comfort of believing in god. The person keeps on having disturbing irrational thoughts about the dead/dying person and thinks when there dead all whats left is a shell rotting corpse so whats the point in letting it got to waste they might aswell be eaten. they cant stop havig these morbid thoughts so the lyrics in the song are the persons thoughts as they looking into they eyes of the dead/dying person. exuse the grammer and spelling im dyslexic |
