Relient K – Deathbed Lyrics 18 years ago
LNikky, believe it or not, but my first concert ever was Relient K opening for Switchfoot and the Supertones. That was waaayyyy back in May of 2001 (or 2000, I can't remember for sure). Ever since, I've been a fan of both bands. That was even before RK released Anatomy...

Anywho, I thought I'd give my two cents on this song too. I think this is the best song Matty has written. I love how after the character dies, the music is so soft and sad. Then it builds and builds and builds, knowing that he is going to a better place. I think that's how it is when we die: Sure, it's a sad time, but it's also a great time because we're going to a better place. It's such a redeeming part of the song. In fact, I think that's the perfect word to describe the song: "Redemption."

State Radio – Riddle In Londontown Lyrics 19 years ago
This song is about how the media (i.e. FOX News) keeps repeating what the Bush Administration feeds them. "Don't you dare go ask the newsman/Cause he'll tell you everything/He don't know."

It goes on to talk more about how people have all these wrong preconceived notions and how people are forming opinions around what the media tells them: "And when she looked into their eyes to see/She know she ain't never going back to what she believe."
