first of all i love this song and i think the meanings pretty obvious: guy is pining for a girl he doesnt know well, but he knows her bf is a cheating scumbag. second, i dont think this song is particularly religious so i dont know how you can bash them for that? third, i was wondering if anyone could tell me why he uses the word "pylon" here? i dont get its meaning in that context... |

I luuuv this song. It's so beautiful. However, I think that he actually might be referring to the small things---the 'little wonders'---in life instead of the major ones as u guys said. But now that i'm reading bugoff and nocrossingjordon, theirs sound like they might be right too. Oh well whenever I think of this song, I think of me and a certain someone and the "these small hours" makes me think of the early hours, like 3am, which is wehn we have our *best* talks and thats what always comes to mind when i hear this. but thats just me... |

wow thats definitely a ballad to alll of those who have the obssessive boyfriend...or girlfriend i guess. yah it can be pretty creepy. i like how she calls him a suction cup. this song was pretty amusing. |
