this song sounds like he is kicking an addiction possibly to heroin or something from that family of drugs... addicts tend to have a hard time holding down food- bulimic rainbows vomit. during the high pupils will be pinpoints, but during the withdrawal they dilate- coconut pupils that never shut. i think the reference to his child, bride and grandmother are the destruction of the tools and drug he uses to get high. also addicts will sometimes take vicodin to help with the come down. but maybe he's so sick from withdrawal that he can't hold it down. and finally he says he's never going back and seems kind of happy about it- the fornication of fear and flames twinkles so pretty. |

it sounds to me like this song is about the begining of an addiction. possibly to heroin or something from that family of drugs. eight inch fingers possibly being syringes. a reference to codeine. tempting him with forbidden pleasure and being a tropical beauty. kind of like hotel california. and finally how he wants to stay there forever... then in burn piano island burn it sounds like he is kicking the addiction. |
