I have a question about this statement: "I was the one you always dreamed of You were the one I tried to draw How dare you say it's nothing to me Baby, you're the only light I ever saw" What context is the word "draw" used as? Initially I got the imagery of him sitting alone at a desk, thinking of her, and drawing her picture, but after reading it I got a different context of the word usage. Maybe I'm a gambling addict, but the way the sentence is being used "You were the one I tried to draw" I get the comparison of the girl as maybe the Ace of Spades, or the card that he wants to "draw" at the time...i dont know just a thought |
