| Mika – Grace Kelly Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I dont know if it has already been said but I heard that the song is about an audition with Simon Cowell where he was told he was 'too weird'. and I LOVE Mika...soo glad he had the third best selling single of the year in the UK :D |

| The Hoosiers – Goodbye Mr A Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I just assumed that Mr. A was alcohol. No idea why.. But after reading the lyrics properly, I realise that it is probably a silly suggestion. Love the song (and the album) though. :) |

| Keane – Is It Any Wonder? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I saw Keane live in October at Alexandra Palace. Amazing show. Captain were great too. They mentioned Tom's rehab visit which they said most of the album was influenced by, and what their lives are like right now. This song is soo great. It is on iTunes RIGHT NOW. |

I agree with SpeakToMe. Completely. We should be congratulating them on success not insulting them. |

| Girls Aloud – Love Machine Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I kind of agree. But I seriously think that the people who are living and breathing their records and like them the best, need a bang on the head. But yes. Cheesy pop makes those summers easy. |

| Nelly Furtado – Maneater Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This song is is my view a negative view on maneater's and the people that fall for them. You can tell by the tone of the song this because it doesnt sound positive, does it? The video backs this up, as it looks like a representation of Hell. Just a thought. But I like the new style, and I don't think that its a sell out, as the new ballad All Good Things shows. She still has some of her music based in her roots. ITS GROWTH. She has had a baby, shes moved on in her life. Her music has also moved on with her. |

| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Also, the people who think: "Oh, MTV people are listening to it, they're selling out." Who cares if MTV people like it? If you like the song. Listen to it. Don't change your opinion based on other peoples views. Cause if you see yourself as a diehard fan and feel peeved at the new audience they are getting. Live with it. As long as you know you are a real fan. |

| Bayside – Tortures Of The Damned Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I also think it has connections with alcoholism. The 'cup he chose to drink from' shows this literally. The train lyric could be about wanting to end his life or that he is just on tracks and wants to break free. This freedom theme is also shown in 'sever all ties'. He hasn't lived life how he wanted and wants to break free, even if it means ending his life. Love Bayside. New fan of theirs. LOVE IT. |

| Fall Out Boy – This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I don't think that the song is bashing their own fans, I think it is bashing the whole music industry at the moment. The arms race is the relentless battle to be top of the charts and have the most money. I like the song myself and I dont think after the beginning it is that different to other music by them. |
