So she built a wall to protect him, so she could "keep him forever." But this is when he goes crazy, and eventually pops. So he "tears down the wall." |

I think this is about a kid dreaming to become a famous poker player. It has a lot of references to Las Vegas, but it seems like there is a deeper meaning. Like the whole song is a metaphor to something else. It was just really wasy to find out the meaning. |

I have a couple of ideas for what this song is about, and this one's about the craziest:
It seems like they're talking about Jesus coming off from the cross, and killing all the people who crucified him.
But I know that's definately not what it's about.

I think this song is about Albert Fish. Read the lyrics to the Grace Budd song. "Kissing his fingers" could be him licking the blood off his fingers. "Saliva bubbling" could be about her in the oven. "The floorboards will never hold the same finish" could be either the blood staining them, or the secret that that house holds. I don't know for sure, but that's just my guess. |

I don't think this song is coming so much from a man's point of view, but rather than a girl's. Obviously something's happened to make her depressed, but they're is definately something coming from the bible. "this is seraplis dream. ten crowns drop." But I don't really know what. |

To me, it seemed like he tried drugs for the first time. He thinks everyone knows that he did it, because he's so nervous and paranoid about it. And when he says there must be something in the water, he could be referring to acid, where you can dissolve it in water. |
