wow. i cannot believe no one has commented on this song yet.
i'm not entirely sure but i think this song is about his desperation after losing someone. he's suffering from the loss and it seems as though he's really lost any traces of faith he might have had. |

i'm thinking bffandincubus is onto something... i get the feeling that it's about two friends who went past their friendship but they're agreeing to move past one or both of them saying "love" and just deciding to stay friends, which is why he's saying they dig each other because they're not admitting to how they love each other. they want to move past the love and just agree to be good friends and they know they'll always be there for each other but only as friends. |

this is my favorite song ever. and it's not about someone's skin being yellow because they're anorexic or about crystal meth. on a live show chris was asked about the song and he said that he needed a word and was stuck and the first thing he saw was the yellow pages. kind of uninspired but that's where it came from. it's just a simple love song about how this guy loves this girl so much that he believes the stars shine for her. it's simple, lovely, and amazing. |
