Ah, who gives a shit on who stole this, Page completley rewrote it, and it sounds better then the Holmes one, there for, screw Holmes version. It's just like All Along the Watchtower, Hendrix took that song from Bob Dylan, and changed it, into a BETTER SONG. |

Man, imagine listening to this song in 1969, just imagine. Like your sitting there with your radio, and listening to a little Bob Dylan, and the Beatles. And this song comes on! The solo just hits you like bullet! This song, and band was ahead of its time. Because the solo in this, was the roots of most heavy metal solos. |

In my opinion, this song has nothing to do with the Lord of the Rings. All I know is, that the "no quarter" was an old pirate phrase, meaning no mercy. And this song is truley dark, I loooove it! |
