If you can look into lyrics and see something else, then its there. Just because its about something, doesn't mean people can not find another meaning in a song. Yes, its about the venue. But the memories thing makes sense, and I like thinking of it that way more than I like looking at it as a tribute to one of their old venues. |

I saw them live yesterday, and I agree with xMandoForgottenx. When they make the crowed do the high scream, it is awesome, and good fun. While they did that, over all, they kind of suck live, IMO. I'm not saying that they were bad or anything, they just did a terrible job of getting the crowed pumped. Basically all they did was say "we are playing song -x-" then play it. They should have gotten some tips from the other bands they played with. All of them knew how to get the crowed pumped, or at least excited. Though, the minute they started playing this song (my fav.) a huge mosh started, which was cool. Overall, good band, but they need some work on preforming. I cant wait for their new album. As for this song, I agree its about keeping someone alive/pulling the of a machine. |

This song can be about 9/11 or Political things, the end of the world, whatever. Does it really matter what its actually about? What matters is how you interpret it. To me, I see it as a relationship falling apart. It may not be what the writers have in mind, but really... It doesn't matter. |

I disagree about this song being about Vampiers. I think that they use Vampiers as part of the song because they are cool, and this band is trying to pull off Gothic-ish-ness. So, they use Vampires. I think this song is about breaking up: "You say you can not love Instead you break away" She cant love him. She breaks away. That Hurt Him: "Saw you out the window as the blood-line fills this town with razors" He Tells Her He Will Come Back Into Her Life: "as the day turns to night but forgive me a chance to see me rise, yes To see my rise again... again, yes again...again.. to see me rise." I think the song just uses Vampires b/c they go with the bands image, and Vampires are fucking awesome! |

This may just be me, but this reminds me of Romeo and Juliet, in a way. I think its about two lovers killing themselves to be together in eternity. "Few words can kill me, they inspire in your hands! The sun outside these glass-shaped walls will burn the flesh off paper dolls, my lips and tongue they bleed... We won¹t fall, we¹ll be together, just the two of us." The few words that can kill him are hers. She is the only one that could have him do what they do (Inspire him to do what he does). The sun burns them, cause its poetic or something. They die and are together, just the two of them. Thats how I am understanding it anyway. I really love this band. I dont care how popular they get. It doesn't matter unless they sell out or something like that. |
