in the song 'California Waiting' by 'Kings of Leon', "crimson and clover pullin over time" is a reference to the song "crimson and clover". that song is about a woman losing her virginity in a field. (crimson=blood, clover=grass)
probably has the same meaning in this song. |

they performed this song at my college few days ago. best live performance ever. this had to be the best song they performed. they let the entire crowd scream "die young and save yourself" which was awesome. they liked us so much that they said they would come back to play once they get their new album out and do a tour. cant wait! |

when i think of the ponytail parade i think of a merry go round at a parade or festival. in the beginning of the song he loves her at the end he hates her. its one cycle that just keeps going on (hence the sleepless nights?) like a merry go round. |
