i love this song, but i've always wondered if they MEANT to reference wooden ships by jefferson airplane, they, too, are an amazing group. The way they sing wooden ships on the water, rescue me, like that, it sounds JUST LIKE the part when JA sing wooden ships on the water, very free. I imagine so, considering they know their shit and titled the song the same and everything. its a very valid reference, both are epic groups and classic, amazing, songs. |

I think this a beautiful yet sad song. summer is gone, and everything is done. ofcourse, it stands for something else, some happy, bright time is past and what they have now is dark and cold and not what they want or are used to, or the end of something good. but they leave in an awesome way, they'll be taken by sunbeams to a higher place, a happier place. no more suffering, its all going to be allright. one of my favorite BMSR songs. -D4N- |

i adore their new sound, not to mention the lyrics: they actually make sense now, i was craving that more than anything from a band this well spoken and played. xXbmthfanXx ur so correct. it almost sounds like coke, but u cant b sure unless they say something about it. i dont want it, i just need it gives it away, its drugs 4 sure. and "just like the living dead" and "harder to feel alive" let u know its an upper not a downer, so almost makes me sure its coke. (downers make u numb, not "feel alive") bmth is not slipknot, get over it. |

ha i've been listening to mcr sine b4 they had a record deal...and all you little 13 year old wanna be emo kids need to get a life...if you think this song is anything but their best then you really have to take a closer look at the lyrics and at the Gerard Way that first wrote Demolition Lovers almost 6 years ago... all of mcr's real fans are sick and tired of posers trying to catch on to the "new thing" and listen to an amazing band and watch them turn themselves away from what they really are and make themselves what more people want them to be. their new cd is bullshit...it barely has any true poetic meaning the true poetic meaning that got mcr a deal to begin with... and it's nothing and i mean NOTHING like what they were in 2001 playing to like 10 people in a bar somewhere in NJ next to a rest stop.... i fell in love when i saw them live...and then was reborn when i heard them live again for their tour...then died when i heard them preform their "new great cd" three cheers for great revenge.....wich only had one or two meaningfull songs basically they suck now their fans are posers and need a life...and a real band and gerard is probably regretting ever singning w. a major lable |

i also agree with tasting.dAveY on the meaning of the song and with who ever said that they pity the people that go around saying there is no happy here. and don't even listen to saetia and well it is also really really annoying...(i am one of the ppl who goes around saying "there is no happy here" and in fact does listen to the band alot lol) this song is amazing and this song got me into satia and the screamo/emo-core genres all toghether when i first heard a recording of them at ABC No Rio (amazing place) this is my favorite song ever oh and Hot Cross is NOT better than saetia even if they still have billy, they have a diffrent feel for their songs (they don't have Greg haha) greg was awesome |
