| They are getting better at being more epic , there new album "amputechture" is pretty epic , Cannabis Gemini in all its parts is very epic , but its over 32 minutes. Such songs as Tetrahydrocanbinoltron are 16 minutes , but just as epic. We are seeing them get better. But no other band can pull off epic songs like Tool can. Lateralus , The Grudge , Rosetta Stoned , Jambi , 10,000 Dayns , all Tool songs to me are epic as hell. | |

This might have the same meaning as kimdracula , some girl fucking him around , perhaps a metaphor for the world fucking him around as he does sing alot about the "universe" of the soughts , and it appears as hes done everything he can , different worldy veiws , spiritulisms eg eg to get the universe but he cant seem to figure out how to make the "universe" happy. If you apply this metaphor to the songs it makes sense in a way. Each song to me applies to a different area to the universe eg eg. This may be my schiztophrenia talking. But it makes sense. The only real question is we dont know which area to apply this metaphor to. The world , or a girl. They could both have the same meaning to him , a girl being his world and he dosnt know how he effects her. An example of this metaphor is "beware" which could be refering to tears of some sorts , "do you like the way the water tastes" could be , do you like the way your tears taste of some sorts. Im not sure. Its best not to think into these things too much. |

maybe by snakes , he means that he this is what first drawn him to this girl , and he can get this girl all he gets is a hug from her , and if the snakes were his arms it would be "alot" to him , cause itd would mean hes with her rather just another "girl". What he could mean by the world is her , shes the world to him , and he constantly infatuated with her and he dosnt want to blink to miss a second because shes his saviour. The sight of her takes away all her problems , the snake seems to be a running theme , also with the i wish youd make up your mind line , he could than maybe hes not sure whats going on with her. The lyrics seem to change between a positive and negative vibe which can reflect on the situation hes in. He dosnt know whats going on and its never change , then again this is maybe how he feels about the world. People always seem to think hes talking about a girl, this could be a metaphor he's created , as he loves girls. I dont know i dont want to go to it too much into detail as it will probably bore you. |
