Midtown – So Long As We Keep Our Bodies Numb We're Safe Lyrics 18 years ago
so does anybody have any insight as to what else they say in the round there at the end? "you don't listen," is different parts in different keys, but one part of the round says something that sounds like, "don't leave the whore," or "don't believe the whore," or something like that. I really can't tell, and I think it would really help if we at least knew who it was directed at - could be the person that the song is aimed at or maybe the person that she went to - any ideas?

The second line of the last verse is definitely " 'But we say,' as we do, and I'll do as I've said"

In the second verse, it sounds more like "focus" instead of "pockets." But then again, Andrew really really likes wordplay, so he might have mispronounced the first syllable for that very purpose.

Fair to Midland – (Tibet) Dance of the Manatee Lyrics 19 years ago
live, this band is amazing.

they've never disappointed.

i'm not gonna lie though - no matter what anyone else thinks, instead of saying "skyscrapers small enough to feed off the lesses," i'm still gonna sing it "skyscrapers small enough to fit up their asses."

why? because it just sounds cooler.
