I agree with dragoonelf. This song is good, but it isnt what good charlotte is really like. Looking back at some of their original songs, especially the album the young and hopeless, i dont think this sounds anything like the good charlotte i like to listen to. this new album isnt them, and i think good charlotte is losing their identity as now they sound exactly like everyone else, no real distinction. The lyrics are very catchy, the way he relates his comfort of night to other artist's songs, johnny cash and his cadillac, ahhh. How he includes the girls who is "the one for me" is ummm, cool. I dont think he is being sarcastic, i think he is really trying to illustrate how he views things, but it is a little too much black, but for the songs purpose, not overdone. u*i |

this song is about a drug addiction. ex: "its in the blood" when he says "from years before" clearly suggests that his madre was/is a user when we he was born. "I met my love before I was born"..........yeah, addiction, what?! can anyone give another meaning for vanilla lace.........besides drug. this has NOTHING to do with VAMPIRES. "press your lips to the sculptures and surely youll stay" means takie it once, and there's no escape, as the music video shows when he drowns at the end. ;( did anyone else notice that at 19 seconds a tiny voice says "i like it" ??? we still cant figure out what "he/she bit my lip and drank my war" means, anyone can help us? this song rocks, its impossible to listen to this song and not sing!! u*i |
