beautiful song. and i wanna know if this hill he keeps talking about is a real place? he mentions it a lot. maybe it's just a metaphor he likes to use? *shrugs* but the song basically sounds to me like he missed out on someone. maybe a relationship that couldn't be due to external circumstances. |

Sorry to dissappoint you 'SentiMetal'.. but some lyrics actually require THOUGHT to understand. i think this is one of the most powerful Dir En Grey songs ever. It's like Kyo just opened his heart and poured it on the paper, in the moment. and i think 'sweet itami' has it right. someone let him down.. someone he loved very much, and he hates himself for believing in them so completely. |

from what i understand "Kyo" means "today".... but it could still be related to the work "Kyoto" since i don't know if Kyoto has a meaning of it's own or is just a name. and it sounds like the song is about a trashy prostitute, to me. as well as Kyo's views on prostitution. |
