chasing victory has the perfect mix of lyrical talent, and music talent. ..and i dont think they sound like underoath at all.
but that is just me. and this song is definitely about a questionable break up " if the fire burns out will it ever light up again?" that "couldnt have come at a worse time"...unrequited means " not returned" so maybe there were still feelings on one half of it but it never worked out so they got tired of waiting " i'm not going to stay to find out" and so moved on and " got a new life now " . . . . i dunno, that is what it said to me. |

i can't really decide which of the two cds is better, because i like the lyrics in burning bridges, they seem so sincere. but in when everything falls you can tell that they have improved instrumentally. so in my opinion i guess i like burning bridges better just because i am a sucker for sweet lyrics. |
