Indeed, it is dedicated to black bloc anarchists. I also agree that it's like trying your best at something. In the bloc you can accomplish something very real; you can take control over the forces that constantly control you and accomplish a direct action, especially an illegal one, with a much greater chance of success and escape. Why should we accept imprisonment if we believe what we do is right? |

It's about modern life. The meaningless routines that we settle into because they're safe and clean, selling our souls because that's not what life should be, making choices based on those middle class values of security and sanitation. I mean, nobody can tell you what your life should be, but that's exactly it; are you living the way you are because you wanted to? If you could do anything, would you be working 9-5 underneath some boss, while the world goes to shit? There are a million things I'd rather do. Sell your suit and tie! |
