| This song is about a drug addict who fell for a girl from the L.A. suburbs. She doesn't get that he's a drug addict and needs the drugs more than he needs her. The vampires are coked/methed/etc'ed out junkies walking the streets. The kids in the shadows are dealers. The last verse involves a vision where the narrator imagines writing his girlfriend's name in the sky, while he's high...in the end he decides that his ideal of that is a lot better than this word, and so are the drugs. So kids, this song is totally and completely about drugs. | |
