First when i heard this song i thought it wasn't as good as fighting and it kinda disappointed me when they say they're goign to release it as the first single. but when i heard more of it it sounded more and more aweseom and it started to give me shivers!! i think the Paper Walls is going to be really good. I think Ryan is writing a song about his career since he moved to LA and its hard to be who you are when you're among all this 'lights and sounds'. He's trying to find peace and to save those whose hearts have been broken?!?! i know this doesn't make sense, but anyway... |

| Fall Out Boy – Hand of God Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i think it means that he's supposed to write songs about real life but all the emo and suicide and my-girlfriend-dumped-me-and-i'm-going-to-die and lame relationship songs aren't real cuz he's depressed but he hasn't got the guts to suicide and he its lame writing stuff that isn't real? i dunno. i'm not even a fan so i don't know wt stuff he writes. | |

Arty, u r such a genius! Like the Arty, Artemis Fowl lol. I really like your analysis, they are really detailed and explains alot. Well I think Yellowcard shouldn't be uncertain about their career, since they've got so much amazing fans that really understand them. Besides, they've got such great songs with great lyrics! |

| Yellowcard – Space Travel Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song, unlike your theories of a person missing a girl, is about YC missing their home, when they think of it they feel peaceful, and when they're on tour or whatever they miss it so much it fills their heads. 'I traveled space for much too long But there's a planet I have found And you are far away' -This probably means that they have been away from home for so long and they've discovered another place called Hollywood where fame is the air the people breath in, and that is so different and far away from home. |

| Yellowcard – Breathing Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
'The fan blades on the ceiling spin but the air is never cold' This means that there is no need for the fan on the ceiling, it indirectly implies that she has no effect in making him not alone. 'I just can't give you anything for you to call your own' it means he doesn't love her anymore and he has got no love to give her anymore. 'And I can feel you breathing And it's keeping me awake' This means that he feels guilty when he hears her breathing and keeps him awake. 'Can you feel it beating? My heart's sinking like a weight' Same as above, guiltiness. Something I've been keeping locked away behind my lips I can feel it breaking free with each and every kiss The thing breaking free is guilt. 'Things that I was sure of, they have filled me up with doubt' He was sure they could last forever. 'Could you stop my heart? It's always beating.' He can't stop himself from not loving her. He just can't love her and he feels guilty about it. I don't know if I should stay or turn around and run He doesn't know what to do because he knows that no one will love him like that, and he might not find another girlfriend that loves him as much as she does if he dumped her, and feels guilty, so he doesn't know what to do. 'I know that I hurt you, things will never be the same The only love I ever knew, I threw it all away' This might imply that his parents don't love him and nobody loves him except her and dumping her means dumping the only person who loves and understands him. |

| Yellowcard – Rough Landing, Holly Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| uh kelsiops, wake me up when september ends is actually about billie joe missing his dead father, or you can say its the part of the 'rock opera' where Whatsername dumped st. jimmy, and jim feeling real blue about it. It had nothing to do with the Iraq war. its just the MV. Besides, anyone can write about the Iraw war if they want to. You can't call me copying if I talk about it now. | |
