its about national anthems, the way ppl stand when they hear it. it holds us all together, near. but following radiohead, its nothing but a hypocrite crap, hence the anthem (the song) goes crazy as its being played. and than, at the end, u can hear that same banal "anthemish" melody, to show u the irony and the great routine in that. thats what i think. |

i think it's a good song, though i'd like it to progress farther, and to different places (main riff going on all the song). but i could say almost the same about "again", though he does progeress in some way. i guess i ecxpect them to be to much close to ping floyd (i think they really took a lot from the songs 'dogs' and 'pigs' by pink floyd in 'again'). anyway.....i like archive very much and think they are good. i like this song very much aswell, it feels like suffering... |

its about global worming- "it comes to you, begging you to stop-wake up!" its about how time's running up and we keep saying things like "god, we godda do something about it..." but doing nothing but talking. talking, being useless- throwing coinds for luck...moving our hands upon the clock and making believe we are being helpful, making believe we are still in charg, but it's all just talking. amazing song btw. |
