Actually, homosexuality and much more bisexuality, are not uncommon in the animal world at all. This is a fact, even though some Christian biologers may disagree. Especially marine birds, monkeys and dolphins are very bisexual. Humans evolved from monkeys (or apes). There are several researchers (Kinsey and Freud among them) who believe humans are bisexual by nature. Ofcourse, mass media and the public always ignored their research on these areas. Hell, it's even logical humans are bisexual. We used to be group animals (and still are, in a way), what works better to improve the bonds withing a group than sex? Research among dolphins proved that their bisexual and even homosexual behaviour is an evolutionary advantage that minimises intraspecies aggression. Homosexuals are indeed a small group, as is natural for humanity. However, if it weren't for mass media and public opinion, the heterosexuals would be a small group too. Only for a few people, a certain sexuality can't be avoided, for most, it is taught. But about this song, it's one of my favorites by anti-flag. Maybe because something simmiliar happened to somebody I knew. Everybody should be able to be themselfs, without being discriminated or judged. Homosexuality is not weird or strange. |
