It's a shame that this song is so very rare. ._. I've only heard one recording of it - live and incomplete at that. This song (well, I only knew the lyrics at the time) was really important to me over 2 years ago. I was 2000 miles away from my first love, and this song told the story of my life. *sigh* If anyone could point me in the direction of a better quality recording, that would be lovely! |

To me this song is about suicide. The ambient sounds at the beginning and end of the song sound like the setting of a hospital, this reflects on my interpretation of the song. |See all those people on the ground wasting time| Perhaps he's about to jump to his death, people are encouraging him not to, and he knows they're just wasting his time, he has made his decision. And after that is reflecting on his past, things he has done wrong. Just my take. |

Yeah, I agree that this song is about a guy seeing a beautiful girl, but knowing he can never be with her. However... Some of the lyrics in this song remind me of a friend, who I had for about a week, but he moved, and I never got his contact information or anything. Now I have to wonder if he'll ever come back... "And I don't think that I'll see her again but we shared a moment that will last till the end" That one week seemed like a moment to me... I don't think I'll see him again. (...Err, in my case, I'd switch it from 'her' to 'him'.) "But it's time to face the truth I will never be with you" That part tells me he probably won't be coming back. But it's just so hard to move on. -Sigh-. |
