| Céline Dion – Beauty And The Beast Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Wow "itzadoodzy." I'm not usually a hostile person, but your comment really upset me. Are you a fucking racist idiot? Just because this song is featured in Disney's Beauty in the Beast doesn't mean only 2-year-olds listen to it. I'm 16 and I love this song and the movie as well. Celine Dion has a gorgeous voice and the lyrics are well done considering it had to depict a scene between a girl ballroom dancing with a boar. Also, someone's nationality has nothing to do with their talents, and I'm pretty sure French Canadians didn't hire Celine Dion to corrupt "your youngins" minds. Besides, someone as ignorant and racist as you won't be having very worth children anyways. How would you like it if I said that Candy is a hooker's name and you probably are one and you suck "MONKEY BUTTS BEOTCH!" Probably the most immature thing I've ever heard. What are you doing looking up Celine Dion lyrics anyways. I seriously suggest redifing your attitude, because it sucks. |

| Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer – Super Ok Lyrics | 18 years ago |
to answer your question, radcore, yes, Plays Pretty For Baby was re-recorded as Super OK...just has different lyrics it's weird to compare this version to the one ANT sung...i think his and rachel's voices mix really well together (like in This Was All A Bad Idea) |

| Dead to Fall – Last Goodbye Lyrics | 18 years ago |
you did a good job i'm thinking instead of "falling into play" it's grave or grey or something. On this demo, there was also "986 (Broken Heart)" and "Song-Of-Redemption" to which there seem to be no lyrics anywhere. This demo was one of DTF's greatest works, everything went downhill from there. Everything I Touch... was the best album. Too many member changes; the band has lost its essence. |

| This Day Forward – Allegory Of The Cave Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The philosopher Plato came up with the "allegory of the cave" in his Republic. He was trying to explain how people could still think and speak even if they were unaware of his Theory of Forms. Basically, there are prisoners who are chained to a cave wall for all their lives. Behind them, there is a walkway of puppeteers, and behind this walkway is a fire, and behind that, the entrance to the cave. All these prisoners know are the shadows that the fire casts and the echoes taht these puppeteers make. The object they see is a reality for them, but people of the outside world know that whatever these prisoners think is real is really only a shadow of reality. This explains some lyrics in the song: unveil this lie, the flickering of the shadows on the cave wall, hollow motives, silence as sound, the prisoners acquiring belief from what is only an empty display. i'm not explaining this very well, but that's the gist of it. |

| Waking Judea – Even The Undertaker Will Be Sorry Lyrics | 19 years ago |
:/ why doesn't anyone comment on such good fucking music? well, i'm just gonna throw out there that the last 2 minutes or so of this song pretty much paralyze me. I think this song has to do with being around sick people (poly vinyl chloride bags) dying (asbestos sheets), and the singer can't stand to see it anymore. There must have been some tension between the singer and the subject, but in the end he swears to devote himself. I'm probably off but seeing as how no one's going to correct me because no one visits this, it doesn't matter much. |

| American Nightmare – Shoplifting In A Ghost Town Lyrics | 19 years ago |
amazing. i love that they're a refreshing break from your typical hardcore band with all the songs talking about posers and starting a revolution. background music is an amazing album; almost all the songs are in a different key and you can tell they live the songs they sing which makes them taht more meaningful and good. |
| American Nightmare – am/pm Lyrics | 19 years ago |
my favorite AN song. and to electricocean, in an interview wes (singer) said taht he was driving around portland and saw someone wearing that shirt and joked with his friend "my parents fell in love and all i got was this lousy life" so you're absolutely right |

| Coheed and Cambria – Time Consumer Lyrics | 19 years ago |
i'm sorry but most of you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you're talking about THIS SONG IS ABOUT CO&CA'S CHILDREN, MARIA AND MATTHEW whom they were tricked into poisoning by Mayo, Wilhelm Ryan's top general. this whole story is complicated; based on Claudio's (singer) sci-fi story, but that's the gyst of it. |

| Chiodos – To Trixie and Reptile, Thanks for Everything Lyrics | 19 years ago |
since you've all done well analyzing the song, i'll skip right to praising it: i agree with care-lines...this is my favorite chiodos song. the line "if you believed what you felt you would be in love" ---i can relate so much. AMAZING live. and the keyboardist, unlike underOATH's useless chris dudley, really goes to work. he's the shit. this band is the shit. |

| Blacklisted – Eye For An Eye Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| split with first blood...such a great song | |
| Abandoned Pools – Lethal Killers Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| looking towards an afterlife makes life seem so much more worthless. thinking that our time here is it, that "this is all we have" makes "life seem so much deeper." don't dismiss the now to focus on some uncertain later. | |
| 7 Angels 7 Plagues – Away With Words Lyrics | 19 years ago |
agreed, cripplekid. my favorite song by them. what's most beautiful about it is that something that sounds like "devil's music (fuck you colin)" can be portraying such helpless devotion. that is the beauty of metal. |
| 7 Angels 7 Plagues – Silent Deaths, Crowded Lives Lyrics | 19 years ago |
^^that sounds like the morgun i know. agreed, if you listen to a minute of this band and even think "emocore," in the words of this immortal band, you're "hopeless to save." go die. |

| Waking Judea – Of Creation Lyrics | 19 years ago |
these lyrics speak to me the most out of all their songs. "your smile makes me hit rewind"--that perfectly describes how someone would feel looking at someone they loved. i think this song is about a soldier standing among destruction, reminiscing about his past moments with someone he cared for very much. |
| Waking Judea – The Tower Of Words Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| such a good song. i get pumped at 3:06. it's pretty obvious what it's about--the irony of being so devoted to someone in spite of the rejection they reward you with | |
