this song makes me think about and elderly couple and the husband (narrator) it watching the wife (sarah) die in a hospital. The nurse pronounces her dead then then the husbands thinks about something that his wife had said before she died "love is watching some one die" and "so whoes gonna watch you die" meaning she was wondering who was going wo watch him die. |

i love the line "and if i hurt you then i'm sorry please dont think that this was easy". it has really helped me get through my last two break ups, it doesnt place blame on either person. The first time I heard this song was durring my senior year on the band bus on the way back from a football game, two of my fellow band members were singing it, I couldnt really understand most of the lyrics (marching band members dont really make great singers) but I knew the title and I looked up the lyrics (it took awhile because of the spelling) when I did find them they made me cry, they are so beautiful. |
