Electric Light Orchestra – Don't Bring Me Down Lyrics 10 years ago
From wikipedia: "A common mondegreen in the song is the perception that, following the title line, Lynne shouts "Bruce!". According to the liner notes of the ELO compilation Flashback, he is saying a made-up lyric, "Grroosss," which some have suggested sounds like the Bavarian expression "Grüß Gott." After the song's release, so many people had misinterpreted the word as "Bruce" that Lynne actually began to sing the word as "Bruce" for fun at live shows"

Billy Joel – The Night Is Still Young Lyrics 17 years ago
At age 37 I think I understand this song in a way I haven't been able to over the past couple of decades. There's a space in between youth and middle age that's rife with struggle, doubt, resistance to aging and regret. Lots of regret. This song captures that moment when both "worlds" come together, but youth wins by a nose.

Little River Band – Reminiscing Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree, this is a great love song. As a gift to everyone who attended our wedding reception, my wife and I gave everyone a CD with songs that had meaning to us. Reminiscing was on it. Quite a few of our friends told us afterwards that they had forgotten this gem from the Little River Band, but found they enjoyed it the most.

Freddy Jones Band – In A Daydream Lyrics 17 years ago
One of those songs that has a simple, straight forward meaning, no hidden interpretive meanings. It's the musical and lyrical equivalent of driving down an open highway with the sunroof open on the first sunny, 72 degree morning of Spring!
