I thnk everyone is going into too much depth about this i think it is such a beautful thought provoking song and yeah i think its done on a mac, you just write something on word highlight it and press speech and it wll read it all out.I think its about a man who has changed his life not about rules or anythign whats all this 1984 stuff was that really going through thoms head when he wrote that? i seriously think it just came to him and he wrote it .. |

Its a great song, it would of been perfect on the album with the live version end bit added, but i suppose that would be copying David Bowies 'Rock and roll with me" Which has the same words accept it says when you rock and roll with me theres no one else i'd rather be, both great songs but i think the killers end bit is more powerful and better, i love brandons voice and the live version off mtv live leak ym lizst on youtube is perfect, it has the end bit and sounds exactly like the album song. I don't knwo what it meanms but i just know that Brandon said this was their go at a ballad! Sorry guys not much Info but i have to comment on the song its lovely, the killers really are the best band in the world, their songs do not at all one bit! get annoying I listen to them all the time! Never will i get bored of Brandons Voice or his perfect lyrics!

is that rock and roll with me one what they sing at the end of 'my list' if you watch a youtube my list live video at the end it says "when you rock and roll with me, theres no where else i'd rather be" thats a great ending, should be on the album its perfect to end the song if you watch it |
