its about selling out or being disappointed when idols sell out. having people who dont really appreciate or care about your talent around you... those are the empty jar cohorts (shallow followers) sleeping with sycophants is giving into the temptation of being with people who dont care about you, they are just interested in fawing you with praise because of your fame or wealth. |

HE HAD 3 SURGERIES WHEN HE WAS LITTLE FOR HIS LAZY EYE! which is still there. come on kids, its about the anticipation for getting this surgery, finding someone who wont judge, it is about love but not about seeing someone from afar at a concert like the video would suggest. its about someone loving you for you regardless of your flaws and possibly recognizing their flaws (physically?) as well ... "its so fun to relate!", thats the excitement of finding someone similarly flawed. |

so im assuming you all dont know this... jesse lacey (brand new lead singer) and Adam Lazzara (taking back sunday lead singer) were best friends. then jesse's gf cheated on him with adam. dick move right? well thats what this song is about. it seems to me like adam is blaming it on the girl. its become a feud in the musical world. both bands have incredible songs bashing eachother. brand new even has shirts that say "microphones are for singing, not swinging." ahaha if you have taken notice to adams trademark microphone swinging performance. you all are musically niave. the dbag who compaired brand new to tbs on the first page is incredibly mistaken. they are soooo different i cant even begin. first of all brand new is actually original and jesse's lyrics are much more insiteful. plus adam seems like a cocky asshole. word. brand new has a song called seventy times 7. its ALLLLLL about adam being a dick and how hes trying to forgive him. the bible says you shall forgive those who wrong you 70 times 7 times over. interesting bit of information non? |
