i know what you mean about person pitch. in a way this song reminds me of ponytail. probably because they're both the last tracks. i'm happy it's on strawberry jam though. I think it suits it well and it's easily one of the best tracks. |

I'm pretty sure that it's about a guy who used to be in a band, and he lost his creativity(the oasis), and now he's washed up, throwing up at bars. I think the "now tell me what have you done" is about him trying to make music again, but it's really terrible and everyone hates him for it. Maybe the "music scene is dead" is an excuse to why he got so bad, and also the "start another band that won't drag you down" is saying he could have been much better on his own without other people telling him what to do. cute song, whatever its about |
