okay, as a song this is perfect! It makes me sad because he knows that his relationship is like most are today. He's in love but his lover is sort of pulling away from him now. That's what always happens now. People are young and they think they're in love but at this age you don't really know love and you can't really have any love accept for your friends but people go and have sex anyway. Once they give themselves away they keep going until marriage which is short and ends up with everyone wishing for what they lost. |

first of all this song is the beauty and the horror of the truth. the whole song can mean so many things. the numb part means how your arm and whole body and then your mind get numb when you cut yourself. it kills inside because you don't want to have to cut yourself but you do. God's always there though, and he knows everything, and if you try, he'll help you make it through because you're not alone. Go to church and confession and lay in your yard in the middle of the night to scream- do anything, wait long enough and you can stop. |

oh i fxcking love screaming this song! You can't sing it without blasting it!! I think it means that everyone has so many troubles in their head that are thick and overwhelming and it makes you feel bipolar because you don't know what to do and it sucks. but you have to realize that everyone feels differently this way (the "you don't know" part). he's yelling it because he wants everyone to know they're not alone even though they are in a way- if that makes any sense. |
