If anyone has read his bio it resonates with what he says and thinks about this woman he dated or had an affair with (i think her name was nina, it was when he was dating missy) when the band first started up and with all the upheaval of his love life recently thats what I think it's about. It could be about many things and with manson alot of his stuff has different layers of meaning but thats what I think anyway. The "edidence" as I see it is in the line "this time i won't hesitate to kill to protect what i believe in" because he plotted to kill this woman he thought of as a kind of succubus who wormed her way into his life by bedding him when he was hi. |

| Definatly my favourite soung on the new album, such a powerful opening track and you can see where it comes from if you know his past. I feel this way too alot. "You're not crying, this is blood all over me" feels like a reference to life force that drains from you in destructive relationships. | |

| I Am Ghost – Lady Madeline In Her Coffin Lyrics | 19 years ago |

This is about a girl turned into a vampire, it's so obvious to me now and to think I almost didn't see it, you can tell by her talking of her lament and niavety at being turned into one at the start then there are other lines such as- "Covered in make up that wont wash away, beneath the stone" - vampires lay under headstones and don't change once made "Half of creations destruction" - life through death Even the title "Lady Madeline In Her Coffin" I mean what does that suggest to you? There it is in a nutshell. |
