I think that it's totally about suicide...maybe just self-mutilation, but when it says: " know (I know I know I know I know) That you're wounded You know (You know you know you know) That I'm here to save you You know (You know you know you know you know) I'm always here for you I know (I know I know I know) That you'll thank me later" It makes me think that she (his friend) is mutilating herself but when he sees this.. he makes her wants to kill herself once and for all, instead of being just hurting herself (when he says he's gonna save her) like "do it and don't be fooling arround just hurting yourself" |

Great song, I love the vocal arrangements, anyways.. I think that Christina is trying to say that she lost her faith but just to see what a great man she found makes her want to pray...maybe thanking God for such a good guy.... |

You know Christina is expresing how many of us feel.. about music..I'm so glad that finally someone speak for all of us musicians.. we admire so much those artists, I mean Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin...so Christina is saying how much she admires those artists and how we should bring back that EXcelent music from the past |
