It reminds me of Jesus. "I'm not my own, It's not my choice" He wasn't really his own person, he was God's son, and he was sent here not to live for himself, he lived and died for people's sins. It wasn't his choice. "Be afraid of the cold, they'll inherit your blood" This line is about communion, and the current state of church-goers. They're so cold to religion. Cold about religion. Cold because religion. And the blood? Communion wine. "Apres moi le deluge, after me comes the flood" It's a sort of vengeful phrase, but after they killed Jesus, sprang Christianity. And look at all the good that's done us. |
