Can everyone stop baggin Godsmack (the band). They're nowhere near as incredibly awesome as AIC but they are really good. There are a select few of songs that sound like AIC, but not many. Most of it is metal, trust me I have all their albums on my computer. Anyways this is an awesome song from an awesome band.

I agree it is an awesome song. It certainly deserves all the attention it is getting. But far more nirvana songs deserve far more attention, such as 'About a Girl', 'Big Long Now', 'Breed and 'Scentless Apprentice' just to name a few. |

Anyways I heard either chris novoselic or butch vig say on the 'Nevermind' documentary that the teen spirit video clip is about a bunch of teenagers taking over the school. Kurt once said that the thought of yuppies sitting in their mercedes-benz and listening to 'teen spirit' makes him sick. He also said that "homophobes should not buy our (nirvana) records or go to our shows. Leave us the fuck alone". |
