Haha, I hear: Chris yells, "Man, I'm trying just to vacuum." Pretty different. I love this song... AND endlestom's recording. Check it out, for real. |

Is he denying that he's a 'tin man' ? Because he says that "the tin man's got nothing on" him. Hmm. Just wondering. |

| Landon Pigg – On the Other Side Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I love the first part of this song, the whole "I'm breathing but I'm dead". He's afraid of taking risks, but knows that to LIVE LIFE you have to take them sometimes. Also, I'm not sure if he's trying to say that the girl is ... conceited ? Maybe she's one of the girls that lets herself go all day long, but at the end of the day, realizes that she doesn't have any friends. :you're sharing your life with no one else" because she doesn't have anyone to share it with. Point is, he tries to tell her that she should get over what she's going through now to experience happiness on the other side ... with him. |

I agree with the_untitled. And with every song that this guy writes, I want to know who was in his mind when he wrote them. I'd love to hear the connection one day. |

| Landon Pigg – Keep Looking Up Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Haha, it is a beautiful song. I love how the tones are so soft. And I think the message is pretty clear. Crystal, actually. He's writing about being a good friend. He'll be there for her [or him] if she [or he] needs him. | |
| Landon Pigg – Trickery Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
One word: CONFUSION. And of all the lines, I absolutely love these the most: "I wish I could discern the things I cannot see Or am I too concerned with finding clarity?" It's so true. People go around all the time trying to find the real "meanings" and happiness of life. Maybe we ARE all too concerned with it, even though we all want our questions answered ... Just live through it. |

| Landon Pigg – Last Stop Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
First off, I'm pretty sure it's "I pick them up" and not "i pick on love". Maybe the girl, or whoever it is, is disappointed in him, and he can tell. Also the other way around. It seems like whatever they had going could never have been called a relationship, and maybe not even a fling. I think "goodbye love, goodnight hate" has a big meaning as well. He says "goodbye" to love because he wants it gone forever -- hate, however, will come back between them soon, thus the "goodnight". |

| Landon Pigg – Just Like I Am Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The girl is looking for love, obviously, and he wants to love her so that both of their 'wishes' can come true. But she's shy, and it's so hard for him to get to know her that it feels like a curse trying to figure her out. | |

Oh, and I just remembered that "the weak man's hammer" is a guitar, if anyone needs that cleared up. Clever Pigg, huh ? |

It's my favorite song by him -- so far. I can't wait until the next one comes out. So basically he wants things to change. Nothing is a problem and everything is perfect because there's nothing going on that could change that or influence it. The feathers and nails represent the extremes that he's willing to take in order for things to go back to normal -- like, "have something good or bad happen to me, I just want something to be different here !" ... Haha. |

| Landon Pigg – Magnetism Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
He's obviously falling in love with someone he doesn't want to fall in love with. However; even though the lyrics clearly specify that he's "pulled against my will" and all, he's intrigued by the person. He wants to see her more because she's interesting, though he doesn't feel like he's completely attracted to her -- it's more like he wants to know her better. At least, that's my take on it. |

| Manchester Orchestra – I'd Rather Have Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
He obviously doesn't want to get back together with the girl. However, there's always that feeling of 'hope' [that he mentions a few times] that maybe she will treat him better -- it seems as though she had devastated him when they broke up. He knows that deep inside he still loves her, and if she's ready to get back together with him, then he'd accept it. That's why he'd "rather have a broken heart than give up hope on you". |

| Manchester Orchestra – Don't Let Them See You Cry Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think the lyrics signify strength and appreciating the little things. In the beginning he talks about how you can't cry and you have to be strong when something bad happens, and then he speaks of sitting back and relaxing through life. Also, it sounds like he's struggling with finding his own music style -- even though the lyrics ARE amazing. |

| Manchester Orchestra – Golden Ticket Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I love how he wishes that the "Good Lord would take care of you [and I] again". I think he sings from the perspective of a father -- especially because of the line "like being a good father not a careless liar" -- and how he cares enough about the other person to realize that he has messed up, and their relationship needs to be fixed. This song is my favorite. And my favorite part of the song is when his voice lowers during "lost my golden ticket back home!" |
