I think this song is about his lover not understanding him and his most important needs. He loves her and apparently she loves him, but she doesnt know how to give him what he needs to heal himself of the past and hes dying inside stagnation because of it trying to decide if she is the right one after all. Suicide? where the hell do you get that? Must everything heavy be equated with death? Damn people |

I believe this song is about having nothing to live for and looking forward to having a child, which the writer hopes will give him the strength to carry on. His life feels dead and meaningless and ponders the idea that maybe his life would have colr with his own flesh to put before himself at long last. I love this song and can deeply relate as Im pretty much going through the same thing...only to have that chance crash a burn with a tubal pregnancy. |
